I'm Jyotirmayee (Joy), a digital marketer who thinks in stories as much as I think in metrics. My path here wasn't a straight line from a marketing degree into an agency desk. It started with an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Hyderabad and a BA in English and Economics from the University of Delhi, years spent reading closely, writing carefully, and learning how meaning gets built sentence by sentence. That training shows up in everything I do now, whether I'm writing ad copy that needs to land in three seconds or building out a content calendar that needs to hold a brand's voice across months.

I work across the full funnel, from paid media campaigns on Meta to email automation, content strategy, podcast production, and technical writing. I've spent time inside a fast moving startup environment, inside an education brand balancing performance marketing with community trust, and inside an independent creator business where I've handled everything from book editing and KDP publishing to Shopify storefronts and merch design. That range isn't scattered, it's how I prefer to work. I like understanding a business well enough to move fluidly between the strategic and the hands on, between the spreadsheet and the sentence.

Outside of client work, I paint in acrylic, gouache, and oil, and I read constantly, somewhere north of 350 books and counting. I've published a thesis, a newspaper article, and a short story, and that habit of close reading and writing has quietly become one of my sharpest marketing tools. I notice tone. I notice when copy is trying too hard or not hard enough. I bring that same instinct to brand voice, audience research, and campaign messaging, treating marketing less like a formula and more like a craft worth getting right.
